Phú Yên 3-Day 2-Night Tour (Easternmost Cape – Ghenh Da Dia – Ganh Ong – Bai Xep)

Tour Itinerary

DAY 01: HO CHI MINH CITY / HANOI – PHU YEN (2 Meals)

Noon: The car and tour guide will pick up guests at Tuy Hoa Airport. You will be transferred to a restaurant for lunch. Afterward, check in to your hotel and rest.

The car and guide will take you to visit the Easternmost Cape (Mũi Cực Đông), also known as Mũi Điện (or Cap Verella), where you can witness the first sunrise in Vietnam. Learn about the name Cap Verella. Visit Vung Ro Bay (Vịnh Vũng Rô), a place historically tied to the legendary victories of the "Ships Without Numbers" during the war.

Evening: The car and guide will take guests to a local restaurant for dinner. Free time to relax and explore the city at night.

DAY 02: PHU YEN – NATURAL BEAUTY (3 Meals)

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. The car and guide will pick you up to begin the tour:

• Visit the national scenic spot Ghenh Da Dia (Ghềnh Đá Dĩa), where a rocky promontory juts out to sea with a unique structure: the rock columns stand tightly packed and perfectly aligned, mostly hexagonal or circular in cross-section, resembling stacked plates. Guests can immerse themselves in the clear blue sea and the gently sloping beach—a delightful experience.

• Visit Mang Lang Church (Nhà thờ Mằng Lăng), which features Gothic architecture and was built in 1892. Here, you will hear stories about the life and missionary work of the Blessed Martyr Andrew of Phu Yen (Á Thánh Andrê Phú Yên) and see the first Vietnamese book printed in the Quốc Ngữ (Latin script).

Noon: Enjoy a seafood lunch at O Loan Lagoon (Đầm Ô Loan), famous for its delicious specialty cockles. Afterward, return to the hotel for a rest.

Afternoon: The car will take you to “Ganh Ong” (Gành Ông) for sightseeing and commemorative photos at the cliff, which was chosen for spectacular scenes in the movie “I See Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass” by director Victor Vũ. You are free to take pictures beside the solid black rock formations along the coastline. Then, move to Bai Xep (Bãi Xép) for swimming in the clear blue water next to the rock formations and fine white sand.

Evening: The group will have dinner at a restaurant. Afterward, feel free to enjoy local street food and specialties such as: Hot Bánh Bèo, Bánh Canh with fish cake, Tuna street food stalls (Cá Ngừ Đại Dương), or enjoy fresh seafood along Bờ Kè street.

DAY 03: PHU YEN – HANOI (2 Meals)

Morning: Enjoy breakfast. Feel free to savor famous local coffee like Tùng Cafe in Tuy Hoa. Afterward, check out from the hotel. Shop for local seafood specialties and gifts for your family.

The car and guide will take you to visit Nhan Tower (Tháp Nhạn), considered the symbol of Tuy Hoa City. This majestic Cham Tower structure is built on a relatively flat area near the summit of Nhan Mountain, on the north bank of the Đà Rằng River. From Nhan Mountain, you can gaze over a vast rice field stretching across Tuy Hoa City.

Continue to visit Bao Lam Pagoda (Chùa Bảo Lâm). The pagoda features a 15-meter-tall statue of Shakyamuni Buddha seated on a lotus pedestal at the foot of Chóp Chài Mountain. The site is also notable as the area where the armed forces of Phu Yen rescued Lawyer Nguyễn Hữu Thọ in 1961. Lawyer Nguyễn Hữu Thọ held many significant positions, including: Chairman of the Central Committee of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Acting President, Chairman of the National Assembly, and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front.

Noon: Have lunch at a restaurant. At the designated time, the car and guide will transfer you to Đông Tác Airport (Tuy Hoa Airport). End of the tour program.
