Hanoi - Trang An - Bai Dinh - Ha Long - Yen Tu - Pilgrimage to the Land of Buddha

Tour itinerary

DAY 1: HANOI – CITY TOUR (Lunch, Dinner)

Morning: The car and tour guide will pick you up at Noi Bai Airport, take you to the hotel, check in, rest, and have lunch at the restaurant.

Afternoon: The group will visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Turtle Tower, Ngoc Son Temple, take photos at the Hanoi Opera House, and ride an electric car to explore the Old Quarter of Hanoi, including Hang Ngang, Hang Dao, Dong Xuan Market… visit West Lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi. You will also visit the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam – considered the first university in Vietnam, with 82 stone steles honoring doctoral graduates still preserved in history. The group will have dinner in Hanoi.

Evening: Guests are free to stroll around the old quarter of Hanoi, walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, and shop at the bustling Hanoi Night Market... Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2: HANOI – BAI DINH – TRANG AN – HALONG (3 meals included)

Morning: Guests have breakfast, check out of the hotel, and board the bus to Ninh Binh via National Route 1A through Ha Nam.

Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, guests will start the tour to Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex – a UNESCO World Heritage site, a region where mountains and water blend harmoniously. The clear water reflects the towering limestone cliffs. There are 31 lakes and ponds connected by 48 caves, including underwater caves that stretch 2 km, such as Dia Linh Cave, Sinh Duoc Cave, and May Cave… Lunch features the specialty of Burnt Rice with Mountain Goat.

Afternoon: The group visits Bai Dinh Pagoda - the largest and most famous pagoda in Northern Vietnam, to participate in a blessing ceremony. At 2:30 PM, guests leave Ninh Binh, traveling along National Route 10 to Halong. On the way, guests will experience the life and typical scenery of the Northern Delta with the peaceful countryside through the provinces of Nam Dinh and Thai Binh Hai Phong, arrive in Ha Long, check into the room, have dinner.

Evening: Guests are free to stroll along the beach at Bai Chay, shop for goods at the bustling Ha Long Night Market, and walk on the Bai Chay Bridge – the longest cable-stayed bridge in Vietnam – to admire Ha Long at night.

DAY 3: HA LONG – YEN TU - HANOI (3 meals included)

Morning: Guests will head to the pier to board the boat and explore Ha Long Bay – a UNESCO World Heritage site recognized in 1994, marveling at the mysterious beauty of thousands of stone islands and fascinating caves: Thien Cung Cave, Dau Go Cave… enjoy the scenery of fishing villages, Hon Am, Hon Rua, Hon Dinh Huong, Hon Cho Da, Hon Ga Choi… Lunch will be served on the boat with fresh seafood dishes.

Afternoon: Depart for a tour of the Yên Tử Buddhist Site - the birthplace of the Trúc Lâm Zen sect.

Guests will take the cable car to visit Hoa Yên Pagoda and the ancestral tower garden.

You will board the vehicle to Hanoi, stopping along the way to enjoy the specialty green bean cake from Hai Duong. Upon arrival in Hanoi, check in to your hotel and rest. Dinner will be served in Hanoi.

Upon reaching Hanoi, you will check in to your hotel, rest, and have dinner at a restaurant (enjoying the flavor of Hanoi's bun cha).

In the evening: Explore the 36 streets of Hanoi at night, visit the Night Market in the Old Quarter, and taste the delicious specialties of Hanoi. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

DAY 4: HANOI - NOI BAI AIRPORT (Breakfast, Lunch)

In the morning: You will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, and the fish pond. You will also shop at Dong Xuan Market – the largest wholesale market in Hanoi. Lunch will be served at a restaurant.

Afternoon: The vehicle will take you to Noi Bai Airport – Goodbye, the program ends here./.
